OUR CONSERVATION PARTNERS
Colorado River Foundation
The Colorado River Foundation (CRF), a 501(c)3 organization, was established in 1994 to promote education, protection, and stewardship of the Colorado River in Texas. As a separate, non-profit funding partner for the Lower Colorado River Authority (LCRA), the Foundation raises funds to support natural science education and outdoor recreation programs, particularly for at-risk and underserved youth, annual river cleanups, and additional community projects that encourage the stewardship, awareness, and protection of the Colorado River in Texas.
The mission of the Colorado River Foundation is to mobilize financial and human resources to promote educational awareness, appreciation, and stewardship of the Colorado River as a sustainable resource for the quality of life and economic well-being for future generations.
