Gulf Coast Bird Observatory
The Gulf Coast Bird Observatory is an independent non-profit organization with 501(c) status. We have become recognized as an innovative organization, which has designed and conducted a significant number of large conservation projects, including migration studies, habitat enhancement, land acquisition, regional habitat mapping, and others.
Our Mission: To protect birds and their habitats around the Gulf of Mexico.
Our Vision: To be recognized as the authority on Gulf of Mexico bird conservation. We do this by building innovative partnerships with communities, educators, governments, industries, universities, individuals, and other conservation groups.
Core Values: Avian and habitat stewardship and partnerships with all.
