Work commitment: HOPPI will be part of a staff duo responsible for helping us motivate volunteers and visitors at tree plantings, butterfly garden restoration efforts, and other Houston Wilderness programming.
We are looking for 2 people to work 2-3xs a month, Friday and Saturday mornings are the most common event times with an occasional appearance needed during the work week. We establish our work calendars months ahead so most of the required appearance times will be know at least 3 weeks ahead.
Being a mascot is hard work- we are looking for someone to be fun, professional, and able to consistently demonstrate high-energy, non-verbal communication! Most of HOPPI’s appearances will be outdoors- so maintenance and care for the costume will also be part of the requirements.
